Insert the lamp inside the drum and then insert the cord on the small hole you made. Test the light. It should look cozy and warm with the Japanese paper and the holes on the drum.

Step 5: Unplug the lamp again and then insert the circular glass. Get clear adhesive to secure the drilled holes for the circular glass. Let it dry. When it is already dry, you can use newspaper to polish the metal of the drum and the glass to make it look shiny and new.

Now you have a very chic and contemporary glass table. Your washing motor is of use even after it is long dead. You can also make an ottoman out of it if you want. It just takes a slight spark of creativity.
